Hello, I’m a Network/ VoIP (Voice over IP) Engineer, not a web developer. I know, I know, you’re probably saying to yourself, “Why do you have a blog on coding, and not a blog on network engineering? Or VoIP?”
I have a very simple answer to that question: I love coding.
“What does RedEyeCoding mean anyway?” Well, it is a play on words for the well-known term, “RedEye”; which as per google’s definition means “an overnight or late-night flight on a commercial airline.”
It was my attempt to be clever in coming up with a title that closely represents the time I usually code. It also represents the individuals who experienced breaking night and/or getting up at the crack-of-dawn to get a few extra lines of code in.
“Are I you an expert?” No, I do not consider myself an expert.
“Why did you create this blog?” I wanted a place to share my journey. The ups, the downs and what I’ve learned; while providing information on topics that other people might find useful; helping them level-up.
“What type of languages will this blog focus on?” At this moment in time, JavaScript, HTML and CSS…but mainly JavaScript because I think it’s so awesome.
“Why did you use WordPress instead of building your own blog site from scratch?” Because I don’t fully know how to do that, yet.
“How close are you to doing that?” pretty darn close.
